The purpose of the Michilimackinac Historical Society is to preserve, record and maintain the historical information of the area between Michigan’s upper and lower peninsulas, known as Michilimackinac.

The Society will promote awareness of the area’s historical culture to develop an understanding of our past, as well as its importance in the present and its impact on the future.
